TYPES
OF POSTINGS
There
are three kinds:
1.
Questions.
Members can post questions about technical and scientific aspects of haptics.
Questions are sent daily to all members in a single mailing. Members that
wish to contribute answers should contact the original member who posted
the question directly. Answers should be sent back to the list. Summaries
of answers received in reply to a question are welcome as new postings
to the list.
2.
Literature.
These are postings with information on new projects, articles, conference
papers, abstracts, web references, etc. about research involving some aspect
of haptics.Only the title of the project(s) and a very brief description
should be given. The latest literature update and a literature archive
can be accessed through the main page of this site. List members receive
an update notification by e-mail.
3.Announcements
of interest to the community. Examples
are conferences, workshops and job announcements. Unfortunately, commercial
announcements are no longer posted for free. For more information about

E-mail
attachments are not accepted. Postings including them will be automatically
deleted. This is to protect members against computer viruses that are transmitted
in this manner.
